one question though… how long does it take to finish one saree or lehenga?

It depends on the kind of work involved, Sia. The magenta lehenga took approx 10 days or so as only Riyaz works on it. Sarees take much longer.

    Hi Sailu,

I just could not take off my eyes from that Blue one. That was so rich and amazing, I think we can try making a saree with that too right, but it must cost too much then.

Are you taking any orders or these are just for showing? Let me know, coz I am interested in ordering something beautiful from you.

    Lata

A sari would be expensive if using the same material and yes you can make a sari also. Its a hobby of mine, Lata and I’m just sharing them online.:)

    Hello Sailugaru,
I greatly admire your passion for cooking and embroidery. I too do embroidery but in a very small scale. In fact I am dying to learn maggam work for years but couln’t. It would be a great help to people like me if you start teaching maggam(atleast basic stitches) like the way you did cooking blog! Any beginner would be able to learn. Looking forward to hear from you.
